Community Events
Part of the mission of the Great Plains Rodeo Association is to make the community aware of gay rodeo so they can participate at whatever level they wish. Having our members present at these community events allows us to educate the public about gay rodeo and recruit them as spectators, members, and contestants.

Norman Pride Festival
Norman celebrates diversity and gay pride at a one day festival. Join us to get the word out about Gay Rodeo in Oklahoma. It will be held In Andrews Park, 201 W. Daws in Norman and we will be there from 12-7pm

Scissortail Pride Festival
In downtown Oklahoma City, the state celebrates diversity and gay pride at a three-day festival and parade. Join us to get the word out about Gay Rodeo in Oklahoma. You can also bring your pony and ride in the parade with GPRA.
