Royalty
GPRA Royalty serve as the public face of the association. They are a diverse group of individuals that provide entertainment and fundraising for the production of the state rodeo. Their dedication to ensure the visibility of gay rodeo is vital to the survival of the sport. Association royalty compete to be International Royalty and as such make a much more global impact.
In the spirit of gay rodeo there are a number of categories consistent with the LGBTQ+ community.

Mr. GPRA/IGRA is someone who identifies as male. Most commonly they are a cis-gender man but can be a transgender man if they identify as such.

Ms. GPRA/IGRA is someone who is either a cis-gender male in drag or a transgender female in female drag.

Mx GPRA/IGRA is a relatively new category representing people who identify as non-binary.

Miss. GPRA/IGRA is someone who identifies as female. Most commonly they are cis-gender women but can be a transgender female if they identify as such.

MisTer GPRA/IGRA is someone who is either a transgender male or a cis-gender female in male drag.

Mx GPRA/IGRA is a relatively new category for individuals that identify as non-binary.
All of these contestants compete in Interview, Western Wear, Public Presentation, and Entertainment or Horsemanship
